Budget

I read about a similar house as mine that was built for around $9,000, including new windows and a $2,000+ solar electric setup.  The owner was budget-minded like myself and resourceful at salvaging materials.  I think this is a reasonable guideline budget, although I hope to spend much less.  My intent is to complete the shell by summer and then finish the interior as time, materials, and funds become available.  This page will be a running list of materials that I have purchased for the project and their associated costs.  Click on the images to enlarge.
